Overview

Selection is the function to select patterns, curves, points, etc.

Operation Method

Selection tool

  • Box selection (include)

    Selects only the objects that are fully enclosed within the selection box.

    Useful when you want to avoid partially selecting overlapping elements.

  • Box selection (intersect)

    Selects all objects that intersect with or are partially inside the selection box.

    Ideal for quickly selecting multiple overlapping items.

  • Lasso selection

    Selects all objects that intersect with the free form lasso-drawn shape.

    Useful when you need more flexible selection around complex areas.

  • Surfaces

    Surfaces Selection is a function that only selects activated Surfaces.

  • Curves/ Points **

    Curves/ Points Selection is a function only to select activated Curves and Points.

  • Sewings

    Sewings Selection is a function only to select Sewing Lines.

  • Pin/Tack

    Pin/Tack Selection is a function only to select Pin, Tack.

  • Deactivated/Guideline

    Deactivated/Guideline Selection is a function to select deactivated Surfaces, Curves and Guideline.

  • Stitch

    Stitch Selection is a function only to select Stitches.

  • Artwork

    Artwork Selection is a function only to select Artworks.

  • Button

    Button Selection is a function only to select Buttons or Buttonholes.

Selection Method

  • Select multiple unconnected objects

    1. Click on an object in the selection mode appropriate for the object you want to select.

    2. You can select multiple objects by holding down the Shift key and clicking additional objects.

  • Select multiple connected objects

    1. Switch to the selection mode appropriate for the object you want to select.

    2. Select the object that becomes the starting point among several connected objects.

    3. While pressing Shift and Ctrl at the same time, select the object that becomes the end point.

    4. You can select objects of the same type that exist between, including the start and end points, at once.

  • Select overlapping objects one by one

    1. Hover the mouse over the overlapping objects.

    2. Press the Tab key to cycle and hover over the overlapping objects.

    3. When the desired object is hovered, click the mouse to select it.

  • Select only the internal curve

    1. Switch to curve selection mode.
    2. Hold down the Alt key and select the range by dragging.
    3. The outline and external curve of the pattern are not selected, but only the internal curve can be selected.
  • Invert selection

    1. Switch to the selection mode appropriate for the object you want to select.
    2. Select an object.
    3. Select the range while holding down the Ctrl key.
    4. Selected objects within the range are deselected, and unselected objects are selected.
