Overview
Curve is a line between Point and Point in 2D Canvas.
Users are able to select Curve by Selection Toolbar > All/Curves.

Operation Method
Operation Method 1_Curve Tool

Select Design Toolbar > Curve Tool
.

Pick a start point on a Surface in 2D Canvas.

Then click other point to create straight a Line. Or Dragging mouse cursor while picking other points creates a Curve.

Press Enter or right click to create the Inner Curve.

Inner Curve is created along the shape drawn by Curve Tool.
Operation Method 2_Make Inner
- Place Outer Curve and Outline inside a Surface.
- Select Curve you want to convert to Inner Curve in Curves Selection Mode.
- Apply Curve > Right Click > Context Menu > Make Inner on Curve.
- Curve is converted to Inner Curve belonging to the Surface.
Operation Method 3_Curve Tool
- Select Design Toolbar > Curve Tool.
- Pick a start point on any blank space in 2D Canvas.
- Create more than 3 points and go back to the start point to close curves and make a Surface.
- The Surface is created as the inside of the closed curve is filled.
Operation Method 4_Rectangle/Circle Tool
- Select Design Toolbar > Rectangle Tool / Circle Tool.
- Pick a start point on any blank space in 2D Canvas.
- Create desired size of figure by mouse dragging.
Operation Method 5_Surface Tool

Select Design Toolbar > Surface Tool.

Select Inner Curve/Outline/Outer Curve that form a closed shape.

Create the Surface.

Press Enter to create a Surface composed of the selected Curve.
(Selected Curve should construct closed figure and multiple types of Curve allow to select at time same time.) -
The Surface is created as the inside of the closed curve is filled.
Operation Method 6_DXF Import
- Click Main menu
from the Design Toolbar.
- Click File > Import > DXF, select the file, then click open.
- Select DXF format file in the file explorer.
- Set options on Import Option message box and click OK button.
- DXF Pattern appears as Surface in 2D Canvas.
Operation Method 7_Curve Tool
- Select Design Toolbar > Curve Tool.
- Pick a start point on any blank space in 2D Canvas.
- Then click other point to create straight a Line. Or Dragging mouse cursor while picking other points creates a Curve.
- Draw desired Curve shape and press Enter or right click to create Outer Curve.
- Outer Curve is created along the shape drawn by Curve Tool.
Operation Method 8_Separate from Surface

Select Inner Curve you want to convert to Outer Curve in Curves Selection Mode.
(Selected Inner Curve should not construct closed figure. If selected Inner Curve construct closed figure, it will be converted to Surface.) -
Apply Curve > Right Click > Context Menu > Separate from Surface on selected Inner Curve.

Inner Curve is converted to Outer Curve separated from Surface.
Operation Method 9_Deactivated Curve
- Select Inner Curve you want to convert to Deactivated Curve in Curves Selection Mode.
- Turn off Curve > Right Click > Context Menu > Active option.

Inner Curve is converted to Deactivated Curve and the color changes to green.
Deactivated Curve is not allowed to select in All/Curves Selection Mode but only in Deactivated Selection Mode.
Selection Method 1_ Multi Select Points (Shift)
- Select Point by All /Points Selection Mode
- Select another Point while pressing Shift key.
- The Points are multi-selected.
Selection Method 2_ Multi Select Consecutive Points (Shift+Ctrl)
- Select Start Point by All /Points Selection Mode
- Select another Point as End Point while pressing Shift+Ctrl key.
- The Points between Start Point to End Point are multi-selected.
Components
Outline
Outline is curve which construct Surface outer edges.
In 2D Canvas, it appears as a black line filled inside.
Inner Curve
Inner Curve is curve which belongs to Surface. Inner Curve is selected with Surface at the same time and moved together.
In 2D Canvas, the default 180°(flat) Inner Curve is shown as a blue line.
Besides, when users put angle on Inner Curve, if the angle is over 180°, it is displayed as purple line and if it is less 180°, it is displayed as yellow line.
Outer Curve
Outer Curve is curve which doesn’t belong to Surface. Unlike the Inner Curve, it operates and moves independently of the Surface.
In 2D Canvas, it appears as a black line not filled inside.
If users delete one of multiple connected Outer Curves, the entire Outer Curve is deleted.
Outer Curve is useful when executing Scissor for overlapped Surfaces.
Deactivated Curve
Deactivated Curve is not allowed to select in All/Curves Selection Mode so it could be used for baseline.
In 2D Canvas, it is shown as a green line.
Deactivated Curve is allow to select by Selection Toolbar > Deactivated Selection Mode.
