Objective

Point is a component of Surface and Curve in the 2D View.

The point is visible when the 2D Viewing Toolbar > Point is activated. And users are able to select Point by the 2D Selection Tool > Curves/Points

Factor

Point

A point is created when a Surface or Curve is created.

On Point, users are able to control the Curve Handle on right and left both sides freely.

Smooth Point

On the Smooth Point, the Curve Handle on both sides of the Smooth Point always remains horizontal.

Operation

Operation Method 1_Create Point

1. Select 2D Action Toolbar > Curve Tool/ Rectangle Tool/ Circle Tool.

2. Create a Curve and a Surface using the selected 2D Action Tool.

3. Points are created at both ends of the Curve and the corner of the Surface.

   

Operation Method 2_Smooth Point

1. Select Point by Curves/Points Selection Mode
2. Activate the Smooth option by Point >Right Click > Context Menu > Smooth
3. The Point corner turned to a round shape, and the color changed to pink.

Selection Method 1_ Multi Select Points (Shift)

1. Select Point by Curves/Points Selection Mode

2. Select another Point while pressing the Shift key.

3. The Points are multi-selected.

   

Selection Method 2_ Multi Select Consecutive Points (Shift+Ctrl)

1. Select Start Point by Curves/Points Selection Mode

2. Select another Point as the End Point while pressing the Shift+Ctrl key.

3. The Points between the Start Point and to End Point are multi-selected.
