Overview

In the fabric materials group, you can apply fabric to the surface. You can select the fabric list order box for your purpose.

If you turn on the Use back/Use side option, you can apply different materials to the front, back, and sides. If the option is turned off, a surface cannot have different materials assigned to each side and will use a front material as common.

UI Panel > Fabric > Fabric Materials

Operation Method

Use the same material on every side

1. Select the surface to apply fabric in Surfaces Selection Mode.
2. Double-click on the fabric to apply via UI Panel > Fabric > Fabric Materials.
3. The applied fabric will appear in both 2D and 3D views.

Use the different materials on each side

1. Select the surface to apply fabric in Surfaces Selection Mode.

2. Activate the Use back/ Use side option.

3. Go to Fabric Materials > Front/Back/Side tabs each**.**

4. Double-click the fabric on each tab to apply via UI Panel > Fabric > Fabric Materials.

5. The applied fabric will appear in both 2D and 3D views.

   You need to turn on the thickness option in the 3D viewing toolbar to check the side material.
