Overview
Custom Artwork is a function for importing artworks of various formats to add to the Artwork Materials list.
Location
Left Panel > Artwork > (+) icon / icon / drag&drop
Operation Method
Creation
- Select the artwork in Artwork Selection Mode, or select the Artwork tool in Design Toolbar via Left Panel > Artwork.
- Press Go Up in the Default folder via Left Panel > Artwork to go to the parent folder, then click on the Custom folder.
- Click on the New Material icon in the Custom folder, and select the artwork material.

Or drag-and-drop a supported file format and place via Left Panel > Artwork > Custom.
Supported formats: u3m, xtex, png, jpg, bmp

You can check the artwork added in the Artwork Materials list.
Artwork Application
- Select the artwork in Artwork Selection Mode.
- Double-click on the applied artwork via Left Panel > Artwork.
- The applied artwork will appear in 2D canvas and 3D viewport.
※Note: Artwork textures in 2D canvas are shown with with texture activated in the Design Toolbar.
Components
u3m
A file format that includes the repeat size, map, and physic.
Importing an u3m file loads the included map image.
xtex
A file format that includes the repeat size and map.
Importing a xtex file loads the included map image.
png, jpg, bmp
These image file formats can be used to create new artworks.
Importing these file formats will use the loaded image as the base color.
※Note: Unlike fabrics, artworks only support base color and normal maps. |
