Overview
Deform is a function to roll the surface in order for it to be properly placed on the avatar.
Location
Surface > Right Panel > Properties > Pattern Properties > Deform Parameter
3D Viewport > Surface > X axis (Shift+scroll)
3D Viewport > Surface > Y axis (Ctrl+scroll)
3D Viewport > Surface > Spiral (Alt+scroll)
Operation Method
- Place the surface in 3D viewport.
- Select the surface to deform in All/ Surfaces Selection Mode.
- Enter the value for the X axis, Y axis, and Spiral via Right Panel> Properties> Pattern Properties> Deform Parameter.
- Roll the surface around according to the value in 3D viewport.
Components
X/Y axis
X/Y axis values can be adjusted to set the degree of roundness to roll the surface in the X/Y axis. When the value is a positive number, it rolls to the direction of the surface. When the value is a negative number, it rolls to the opposite direction of the surface.

Spiral
This function is for switching the direction of the surface spiral. It determines which side to raise the end of the shape.
When the value is a negative number, the right side of the surface (seen from the front) is raised and covers the left side. When the value is a positive number, the left side of the surface is raised and covers the right side.
