Overview

In 2D View, users can create and edit patterns for garments by using various functions.

Component

2D Viewing Toolbar

On the 2D Viewing Toolbar, users can change options for 2D View.

• Grading

  Grading is an option to show or hide the graded size of patterns.

• Colorway

  Colorway is an option to show or hide the Colorway Panel.

• Enable Snap

  Enable Snap is an option to enable the snap function in the 2D View.

• Show Grid

  Grid is an option to show or hide a grid line in the 2D View

• Show Points

  Points is an option to show or hide points in the 2D View.

• Show Sewing

  Sewing is an option to show or hide the Sewing Line in the 2D View.

• Show Texture

  Texture is an option to show or hide the Fabric Texture on the Surface in the 2D View.

• Show Measurements

  Measurements is an option to show or hide the Curve length in the 2D View

2D Action Toolbar

Users can create and edit garment patterns on the 2D Action Toolbar.

The small arrow on the Toolbar means that there are more tools hidden. By double-clicking the icon, hidden tools will appear.

• Box selection (include)/ Box selection (intersect) / Lasso selection

  Select is a function to select objects in the 2D View.

  • Box selection (include)

    Selects only the objects that are fully enclosed within the selection box.

    

  • Box selection (intersect)

    Selects all objects that intersect with or are partially inside the selection box.

    

  • Lasso selection

    Selects all objects that intersect with the freeform lasso-drawn shape.

    

• Curve / Divide Curve

  Curve is a function to create a Curve and Surface.

  Divide Curve is a function that splits a Curve by adding points.

• Rectangle / Circle / Surface / Hole

  These are functions to create various items.

• Sewing / Multi Sewing

  These are functions to create a Sewing Line.

• Zipper / Stitch / Artwork / Button / Buttonhole / Button Connection

  These are functions to create various Accessories.

• Pleats Angle / Pleats Sewing

  These are functions to put angles on Inner Curves and to sew pleats patterns.

• Measurements / Horizontal Guideline / Vertical Guideline / Angle Guideline

  These are functions for measuring or drawing Guidelines.

2D Selection Toolbar

On the 2D Selection Toolbar, users can control what to select by clicking or dragging.

Users can use the 2D Selection Toolbar to select only the items intended for use.

• Surfaces

  Surfaces Selection is a function that only selects activated Surfaces.

• Curves / Vertices

  Curves / Vertices Selection is a function only to select activated Curves and Vertices.

• Sewings

  Sewings Selection is a function only to select Sewing Lines.

• Pin/Tack

  Pin/Tack Selection is a function only to select Pin, Tack.

• Deactivated

  Deactivated Selection is a function to select deactivated Surfaces, Curves and Guideline.

• Stitch

  Stitch Selection is a function only to select Stitches.

• Artwork

  Artwork Selection is a function only to select Artworks.

• Button

  Button Selection is a function only to select Buttons or Buttonholes.
