Mesh Quality

  • Updated

Overview

Mesh Quality is a function for adjusting the mesh size.

The higher the mesh quality, the smaller the mesh size becomes, allowing for more elaborate garment expressions.

Location

UI Panel > Simulation > Basic Settings > Mesh Quality

UI Panel > Simulation > Basic Settings > Custom Mesh Quality

Operation Method

Mesh Quality

  1. Adjust the mesh quality via UI Panel > Simulation > Basic Settings. This option is applied to all surfaces in the scene.
  2. Turn on the mesh option in the 3D viewing toolbar to check the applied mesh quality.

Custom Mesh Quality

  1. Select the surface to apply custom mesh quality.
  2. Turn on the custom mesh quality option via UI Panel > Simulation > Basic Settings.
  3. Turn on the mesh option in the 3D viewing toolbar to check the applied mesh quality.

※ Note: When smoothing is enabled in the 3D viewing toolbar, a smooth small mesh will appear, but smoothing must be disabled to check the applied mesh accurately.

Components

Mesh Quality

Mesh Quality is applied to the entire surface in the scene.

The lower the mesh quality, the larger the mesh size becomes, making the simulation faster.

The higher the mesh quality, the smaller the mesh size becomes, making the collision processing more stable, which leads to a more detailed garment.

Custom Mesh Quality

This function is for applying different mesh sizes to certain surfaces.

Custom mesh quality can be adjusted for surfaces needing detailed expression to obtain quick and accurate results.
