Locate in 3D

Overview

Locate in 3D is a function for projecting the 2D view pattern batch to reflect in 3D view.
Depending on the front/ back option, the surface will be placed to the front/ back of 3D view in the same position as the 2D view.

※ Tip: This function can only be used before simulation.

 

Location

2D View > Surface > Context Menu > Locate in 3D

 

Operation Method

  1. Set the surface position to 2D view.
  2. Select the surface to locate in 3D in All / Surfaces Selection Mode.
  3. Right-click on the selected surface to open the context menu, then select Locate in 3D > Front/Back.
  4. Selecting Front places the surface to the front of 3D view. Selecting Back places the surface at the back of the 3D view.

 

Components

Front This function is for placing a surface to the front of 3D view in the same position as the 2D view via Locate in 3D > Front.
Back This function is for placing the surface to the back of 3D view in the same position as the 2D view via Locate in 3D > Back.
