Overview

The Mirror function copies surfaces by mirroring them. Surfaces set as a pair can be edited simultaneously.

Pairs can be edited separately by using Break Mirror.

Location

2D View > Surface > Right Click > Context Menu > Mirror

Operation Method

Mirror

  1. Select the surface in Surfaces Selection Mode.
  2. Right-click on the selected surface to open the context menu, then select Mirror.
  3. Check the location of the mirrored surface using preview, and click on a space to paste.
  4. The mirrored surface outline will turn blue, and the pair will be shown as a line when selected. Surfaces set as a pair can be edited simultaneously.

Unfold Mirror

  1. Select the outlines of a surface in Curves/ Points Selection Mode. (The outlines must be connected curves.)
  2. Right-click on the outline to open the context menu, then select **Unfold Mirror.
  3. The surface will unfold symmetrically based on the selected outline.
  4. Once you apply this, the outline color will change to red.

Break Mirror

  1. Select the surface in Surfaces Selection Mode.
  2. Right-click on the selected surface to open the context menu, then select Break Mirror.
  3. The broken mirror outline will turn into a black line, and it can be edited separately.

Note : When Mirror is applied during simulation, the pattern is automatically repositioned to its symmetrical location.
