Overview
The Mirror function copies surfaces by mirroring them. Surfaces set as a pair can be edited simultaneously.
Pairs can be edited separately by using Break Mirror.
Location
2D View > Surface > Right Click > Context Menu > Mirror
2D View > Surface > Right click > Context Menu > Break mirror
Operation Method
Mirror
- Select the surface in Surfaces Selection Mode.
- Right-click on the selected surface to open the context menu, then select Mirror.
- Check the location of the mirrored surface using preview, and click on a space to paste.
- The mirrored surface outline will turn blue, and the pair will be shown as a line when selected. Surfaces set as a pair can be edited simultaneously.
Unfold Mirror
- Select the outlines of a surface in Curves/ Points Selection Mode. (The outlines must be connected curves.)
- Right-click on the outline to open the context menu, then select **Unfold Mirror.
- The surface will unfold symmetrically based on the selected outline.
- Once you apply this, the outline color will change to red.
Break Mirror
- Select the surface in Surfaces Selection Mode.
- Right-click on the selected surface to open the context menu, then select Break Mirror.
- The broken mirror outline will turn into a black line, and it can be edited separately.
Note : When Mirror is applied during simulation, the pattern is automatically repositioned to its symmetrical location.
