Overview
The Scissor function cuts one surface into two or more surfaces.
Location
2D View > Outer Curve > Context Menu > Scissor 2D View > Inner Curve > Context Menu > Scissor 2D View > Outline > Context Menu > Scissor
Operation Method
Scissor
- Draw an inner curve/ outline/ outer curve that cuts through the surface.
- Select the curves to scissor in Curves/Points Selection Mode.
- Right-click on the curve to open the context menu, then select Scissor.
- Separated surfaces will be created based on the curve where you applied the Scissor tool. (Curves you want to Scissor must not intersect)
Making a Hole with the Scissor tool
- Draw inner or outer curves on the surface.
- Select the curves to change to holes in Curves/Points Selection Mode. (The selected curves must be a closed figure with all lines connected)
- Right-click on the curve to open the context menu, then select Scissor.
- A hole will be created based on the shape of the selected curves.
