Scissor

Overview

The Scissor function cuts one surface into two or more surfaces.

Location

2D View > Outer Curve > Context Menu > Scissor 2D View > Inner Curve > Context Menu > Scissor 2D View > Outline > Context Menu > Scissor

Operation Method

Scissor

  1. Draw an inner curve/ outline/ outer curve that cuts through the surface.
  2. Select the curves to scissor in Curves/Points Selection Mode.
  3. Right-click on the curve to open the context menu, then select Scissor.
  4. Separated surfaces will be created based on the curve where you applied the Scissor tool. (Curves you want to Scissor must not intersect)

Making a Hole with the Scissor tool

  1. Draw inner or outer curves on the surface.
  2. Select the curves to change to holes in Curves/Points Selection Mode. (The selected curves must be a closed figure with all lines connected)
  3. Right-click on the curve to open the context menu, then select Scissor.
  4. A hole will be created based on the shape of the selected curves.
