Set V-RAY environment (beta)

Overview

There are some prerequisites to running a V-Ray Renderer.

 

Operation Method

Set V-Ray AppSDK(6.00.21)

  1. Go to download.chaos.com and sign in
  2. Download and install V-Ray AppSDK(6.10.07)

* V-Ray AppSDK install option

  1. Click Advanced
  2. Uncheck the Download V-Ray material library and click continue
  3. Select the Local option and click install

  1. Go to the V-Ray Application SDK > bin folder
    Default path C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\AppSDK\bin image (27).png

    1. Copy all files into the bin folder and paste them into the z-weave.exe path.
      Default path C:\Program Files\z-weave
      When the below message appears, please choose Skip these files.

Operation Method - Set Chaos License Server

  1. Download and install the Chaos License ServerUntitled (12).png

  2. Search Start Chaos Unified Login and run it

    If it doesn’t work, run the Manage Chaos License Server and sign in via the website

  3. Search Start Chaos License Server and run it

※Note: Before activating the license, please check the available seats.
  1. run the Manage Chaos License Server and sign in via the website
  2. click the V-Ray AppSDK
  3. you can check the number of available seats 

Run V-Ray in z-weave

  1. Go to 3D View > Rendering toolbar > HQ Render
  2. If the license is ready, click YesUntitled (9).png
