Overview
The timeline is a feature that bakes and plays a simulation cache.

3D View > Timline
Operation Method
Bake and play cache
- To go to timeline mode, click the timeline icon under the 3D view.
Set the timeline frame range.
The avatar animation starts from 0 frames. Before the 0 frames, the cloth simulation runs.
Negative frames will be set automatically based on the frame rate and draping time settings, and the user can change them.
For example, the frame rate is 30fps, and the draping time is 0.4 sec. The frame on the timeline starts from -12 frames.
Click the Cache button.
If y
ou press the Play forward button, the simulation starts and the blue press bar appears on the timeline.
5. To stop the baking cache, click the Pause button.
6. Click the buttons to move the indicator to the specific frame. Otherwise, move the indicator where want to start the cache playing.
7. Click the Play forward/backward button to play the cache.
Export cache
- Click the export button on the timeline.
Choose the format to export.
The cache is exported in the default setting as below.
The duration(in frames) will also be set to the default start/end frame, but it can be fixed by personal option.

Note : The Timeline function is not available on macOS.
